The State, regions and local authorities within their powers and functions, promote and develop health services and other necessary steps to ensure that abortion is used for limiting births.

The Sunday newspaper article read, in which Dr. Silvana Borsani describes the identikit of the woman who chooses an abortion, I was reminded of the opening words of this law, much cited, but perhaps not always well applied, they speak for economic reasons, lack of employment as a result of choosing to practice voluntary interruption of pregnancy.
